This is why ‘it doesn’t hurt yet’ is a trap, Watch this 3-year damage!

Look closely at these two X-rays of the exact same patient, taken 3 years apart.
🗓️ Year 1: The wisdom tooth is sitting horizontally, leaning right against the second molar. No pain. No symptoms.
🗓️ Year 4: Look at that dark shadow on the neighboring tooth. Because food and bacteria were trapped in that impossible-to-clean gap, a massive, deep cavity formed.

By the time it finally started hurting, it was too late. The cavity went so deep into the root that the tooth could not be saved.

Instead of a simple wisdom tooth extraction, this patient now has to lose two teeth.
