We are a small, modern and classy boutique dental clinic in Pakenham with 2 treatment chairs (plus 1 additional chair), focused on delivering exceptional patient care in a warm and professional environment.
We’re looking for a confident, people-focused Dental Receptionist who is ready to step beyond traditional front desk duties and play a key role in growing the practice.
This is not just a reception job — it’s an opportunity to become the driving force behind patient experience and practice growth.
🌟 About the Role
You will be the first impression of our clinic — managing enquiries, converting calls into bookings, and ensuring every patient feels valued and cared for.
You’ll also play a role in:
- Increasing treatment acceptance
- Following up enquiries and outstanding treatment plans
- Reactivating overdue patients
- Supporting growth in preventive dentistry & advanced specialized treatments
- Helping improve systems and patient experience
We are happy to train you technically. What matters most is your attitude, confidence, and communication skills.
✅ What We’re Looking For
You are:
- Confident and warm on the phone
- Comfortable converting enquiries into appointments
- Organised and proactive
- Commercially minded (you think about growth, not just admin)
- Professional in presentation and communication
- Calm under pressure
Experience in dental is preferred but not essential.
Experience in premium retail, hospitality, medical reception, or customer-facing sales is highly regarded.
💼 What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Managing calls, emails and patient enquiries
- Converting enquiries into confirmed bookings
- Presenting treatment plans and assisting with acceptance
- Managing recalls and follow-ups
- Supporting day-to-day practice operations
- Contributing ideas to grow the clinic
💰 What We Offer
- Competitive hourly rate aligned with your experience and capability
- Performance-based bonus tied to enquiry-to-booking conversion, treatment acceptance, and monthly revenue growth
- Supportive and respectful team culture
- Opportunity to grow into a Practice Manager role
- A beautiful, professional work environment
🎯 This Role Is Perfect For Someone Who:
- Wants to grow beyond “just reception”
- Enjoys influencing outcomes
- Takes ownership of results
- Wants to be part of a growing boutique clinic
