We’re so excited to introduce Dr Gabbie Newman as the newest member of the TDSN team, as she returns to her hometown of Launceston.

Gabbie has a long history in dental industry – she began working as a dental assistant in 2014 which inspired her future career path. Gabbie moved to the tropics, studying and then eventually working as a dentist throughout Cairns, Mount Isa and Darwin between 2017 and 2025. In 2018, as part of her studies, Gabbie joined us here at TDSN for work placement, this makes her start at TDSN extra special for us!

With a desire to be closer to family, Gabbie is back in Tassie and is excited to be working with us Wednesday through to Friday from May 7th. She has a particular interest in treating anxious patients, including children. Throughout her career she has developed skills in creating a calm and supportive environment where patients are comfortable and informed every step of the way.
