A good rule of thumb is to replace your toothbrush or electric toothbrush head every 3 months — and consider replacing it immediately after you’ve been sick. Your old toothbrush can hold bacteria that can cause sickness and lead to cavities and gum disease due to not removing plaque as effectively as when it’s new!
