Key Tips for Flossing Correctly: 🦷🪥

Brushing only cleans 60% of your tooth surfaces and flossing gets the rest. But it is only effective if done correctly!

* Use Enough Floss. Around 45 cm, winding most around your fingers

* Curve It. Hug the floss into a letter C shape against each tooth and go gently under the gumline

* Use a clean section of floss every time. Avoid reusing the same segment between teeth



Common Flossing Mistakes:

* Snapping the Floss sharply between your teeth can injure or irritate your gums

* Staying Above the Gumline, you will miss harmful bacteria hiding below

* Only Flossing before your dental appointment, as infrequent flossing doesn't stop plaque buildup
