Taking care of your teeth with braces requires a bit more attention—but it doesn’t have to be complicated.

Try these simple tips to keep your smile fresh and healthy:

✔ Clean between your teeth
Use floss or an interdental brush to reach those tight spaces.

✔ Rinse before you brush
Swish with water first to help loosen trapped food.

✔ Keep a brush with you
Brushing after meals helps prevent buildup throughout the day.

✔ If you’re out and about
Rinsing your mouth with water after eating helps dislodge food and decreases risk of decay.

Consistent small habits can go a long way during your orthodontic journey.
Save this for your daily braces routine 💙

Your aligners are with you almost all day, every day. A simple daily cleaning routine will help prevent stains, bad odours and bacteria build-up.

Rinse them, brush them gently, avoid hot water and always clean your teeth before putting them back in.

Small habits make a big difference to your smile ✨

If you’re wearing braces, the foods you choose really do make a difference. Hard or sticky snacks like nuts, popcorn, chewy lollies or crusty bread can put too much pressure on your brackets and wires. A small bite can easily turn into a loose bracket or a bent wire, which slows down your treatment and can cause discomfort you definitely don’t need.

Avoiding these foods helps keep everything moving smoothly, ensuring your braces can do their job without interruptions. And if something does break or feel out of place, it’s always better to get it checked sooner rather than later so we can prevent delays in your progress.

Let’s be honest… these struggles are too real! 😅🦷
Braces do wonders for your smile — but there are some things no one really warns you about.
From food fails to flossing frustration, we see you and we feel your pain. 🙌

But remember: it’s temporary, and the results are so worth it! 💫
