🦷🌿 Root Canal Treatment — What Is It?
A root canal can help save a natural tooth when the pulp inside it becomes inflamed or infected.
This can happen due to deep decay, cracks, trauma or repeated dental treatment.

Common signs include:
• Lingering sensitivity to hot or cold
• Toothache or pain when biting
• Swelling or tenderness
• Tooth discolouration

An infected tooth doesn't always cause pain, so regular dental check-ups are important.

During treatment, the damaged pulp is removed, the inside of the tooth is carefully cleaned and disinfected, and the canals are sealed to help prevent further infection.

✨️ A fresh new week 🎡
After a little Ekka fun last Wednesday, we’re back in the clinic and ready for a fresh week of caring for our patients. 🦷💙

We hope you had a lovely Ekka holiday too — whether you braved the rides, visited the animals, enjoyed the food (and perhaps one too many Ekka treats 🍓🍦), or simply enjoyed a quiet day with family and friends.

We managed to get along to the Ekka ourselves and had a wonderful day soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying a little break from the dental chairs!

Now it’s back to the clinic, familiar faces and doing what we love — providing calm, gentle and personalised care for our patients and families. 🌿
