Composite veneers can be a quick and conservative way to improve the shape, alignment and appearance of one or more teeth, and enhance the overall smile.

For this patient, we placed a composite veneer on the upper left lateral incisor, which was slightly shorter and positioned at a different angle from the matching tooth on the right.

The result: a more balanced smile, a happy patient and a very happy dentist! 😊🦷

Do you hate having impressions taken at the dentist?
You are not alone. So many patients dislike the impressions.
The good news is there’s a much better way!

Remember those big uncomfortable trays filled with impression material? For many patients, they can be really uncomfortable, bulky and can trigger a gag reflex.

Today, we can capture a highly detailed 3D digital scan of your teeth using an intraoral scanner.
No bulky impression trays. No messy impression material. Just a comfortable digital scan of your teeth in minutes.

“Instead of taking a physical impression, the scanner captures thousands of images to create a detailed digital model of your teeth and bite.”

The modern intraoral scanners like ours can provide highly accurate digital impressions for many dental procedures like:
Invisalign
Crowns
Veneers
Dental implants
Smile design
Monitoring changes over time

Patients love the scanner because
There is no messy and gooey impression material and there is no uncomfortable trays.
We loved our scanner because it is more comfortable for our patients. With our ultra-modern scanner, we can take very accurate and real-time digital images and detailed 3 dimensional information.

This is modern dentistry: More comfortable for you, more information for us, and a much smarter way to plan your treatment.

Children’s first dental visit should be all about FUN!

We always let the child lead the way. Sometimes they’re not quite in the mood, and if I’m lucky, I might just get a quick little peek. Other times, they’re excited to let us “count” their teeth, “brush” their teeth, and make them “sparkly clean”.

The most important thing is that they have a wonderful experience because I truly believe dental visits should be fun, positive, and stress-free for everybody particularly children.

Children’s dentistry is one of our greatest joys at Park St Dental Practice. 💕🦷

The trust a child develops with their dentist can start from their very first visit. When that first experience is positive, gentle and supportive, it can make a lifelong difference to how they feel about dental care.

At Park St Dental Practice, we truly value the trust and confidence our little patients place in us. We want every child to feel safe, heard and cared for — and, most importantly, to leave with a happy experience. 🌈✨

As a mum herself, Dr Neda Gorji understands little minds and little hearts. She knows that every child is different, and that building trust takes patience, kindness and understanding.
Dr Neda has also spent many years working in a paediatric dental specialist practice alongside dental specialists, gaining extensive experience in caring for children and helping them feel comfortable in the dental chair.

Her love for children, combined with years of experience as a children’s dentist and a mother, is one of the reasons so many of our little patients — and their parents — place their trust in her.

Because we believe that a child’s first dental experiences can help shape their relationship with dentistry for years to come.

Park St Dental Practice Team try their best to create Happy little smiles, Positive dental experiences and Healthy habits for life. 🪥

What makes you scared of the dentist?

After 25 years experience as a dental surgeon and implant dentist, I’ve heard many reasons why people feel nervous about visiting the dentist.

Some are afraid of losing control, choking, the cold water spray, the ultrasonic cleaner or simply the sound of the drill.

Others worry about being judged because of their teeth or oral hygiene, hearing bad news, or the cost of treatment.

But here’s something I want you to know:
I’m a dentist, but before I became a dentist, I was also a patient!

I remember having some of these fears myself, so I genuinely understand how it feels to sit in that dental chair.

I always try to ask myself:
“If I were the patient, how would I want to be treated?”

Every patient is different, and your dental health is influenced by many factors; not just how well you brush your teeth. Genetics, saliva, diet, medications, health history and many other factors can all play a role.

Our job is not to judge you. Our job is to understand you, diagnose the problem and find what is best for you.

My team and I want to care for you and your family the way we would want to be cared for ourselves, and the way we would want our own families to be treated.

So if you’re nervous about visiting the dentist, please tell us. And we will try our best to make your visit as comfortable as possible!
