Fixed Price Wisdom Teeth Extractions $1,399

To help try and keep the cost of dental treatment down Perth Sleep Dentistry have made a decision to fix the cost of having your wisdom teeth extracted to $1,399 for all four teeth extracted.

- What is included in the cost?
The cost includes the extraction (simple or complex) of 4 wisdom teeth.

- What happens if I want to have sedation for the procedure?
We offer 3 different types of sedation, with the approximate costs listed below for each type:
1. Laughing Gas $177

2. IV Sedation (Sleep Dentistry) $750 before the Medicare rebate (which is around $257)

3. General Anaesthetic - So long as you have hospital cover with your private health insurance then you will just pay the excess on your hospital cover policy (if you have one) and you may have a small gap on the Anaesthetist (however if you are with HBF then there is no gap on the Anaesthetist)

- How much is the consultation and xrays?
The consultation is $57 and an OPG (full mouth xray) is $110. If you have recently had a full mouth xray we can typically use this, and therefore there will be no charge for the OPG.

Some patients may require additional medical imaging (such as a cone beam CT) if this is required we would advise the patient of this and the associated costs at the consult

- Do you offer payment plans?
Yes we do. Please feel free to contact our clinic to discuss the right option for you

We strive to continue to provide quality sleep dentistry at an affordable price for our patients, and with the recent cost of living increases we have seen this as an opportunity to provide an affordable option for patients.

Do you need a tooth extracted or your wisdom teeth removed?

Perth Sleep Dentistry offer Wisdom teeth extractions under general anaesthetic or IV sedation (Sleep Dentistry) so we can find an affordable solution for everyone, and the best part you will be asleep during the procedure.

We can perform most extractions under either a general anaesthetic at St John of God Midland, or under IV sedation in our clinic.

If you have private health insurance (with hospital cover) there is NO GAP on the hospital stay so you will only pay the excess on your hospital policy (if you have one) and the gap on the dental treatment

For those that don't have private health insurance our IV sedation is very reasonably priced, and yes you can claim a Medicare rebate on the IV sedation. There is still an out-of-pocket component after the Medicare rebate, however this reduces the cost of the sedation.

PM us if you have any questions or call our friendly staff on 6118 2616. You can also visit our website, www.perthsleepdentistry.com.au, for more information

: PM Scott Morrison (ScoMo) has announced ALL elective surgeries will be allowed to recommence across the country, as social distancing measures are relaxed.

Chief Medical Officer Brendan Murphy says there are only 50 COVID-19 patients in hospitals around the country, and 12 people on ventilators.

Mr Morrison has also announced $48.1 million will be spent on a national mental health plan, given the serious concerns about the wellbeing of Australians struggling through social isolation and the economic slump.

Emergency dental appointments available 7 days a week!

In the past few days the AHPPC have implemented some strict guidelines for dental clinics in Australia in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. As such we are now only able to treat dental emergencies.

We have therefore made a decision to remain open to treat patients who have dental emergencies.

We will only have 1 dentist on each day, therefore keeping our waiting room clear, and the waiting room will be cleaned down between patients. We maintain our usual high level of infection control procedures, and have implemented some additional precautions to keep our staff and patients safe.

We will be opening 7 days a week, including some late evening appointments.

Please either call us on 9250 8844, send us a PM or book via Health Engine (https://healthengine.com.au/webplugin/?id=34701). Please be aware that our staff will triage over the phone, and also ask some questions to ensure you are not high risk of having COVID-19
