Taking care of your oral hygiene is an everyday commitment, and we encourage all our patients at DRJ Dental Group to make it apart of their daily routine.

🌙 Grinding your teeth at night?

If you wake up with jaw tension, headaches, or sore teeth, you may be grinding or clenching while you sleep.

Night-time grinding and clenching can put excessive pressure on your teeth and jaw. Over time, it can wear down the teeth, change their shape, cause chips or cracks, and lead to increased sensitivity and jaw discomfort. 🦷

The good news? Night grinding can be treated. 🦷✨

We can assess your teeth and jaw and, if suitable, help create a custom night guard (splint) to protect your teeth and reduce the effects of grinding while you sleep.

Get in touch with us at DRJ Dental Group to combat teeth grinding by calling us at 9532 2117 or booking online!

🦷 Wisdom teeth causing trouble? Don’t wait for them to make the first move!

You may have been referred for an OPG X-ray at your last check-up to take a closer look at your wisdom teeth and see how they’re sitting.

At DRJ Dental Group, we may be able to remove them for you or, if they’re a little more complex, we can refer you to a trusted specialist.

Early and prompt wisdom teeth removal is especially important if you’ve had orthodontic treatment, in order to prevent any unwanted movement/ changes in your smile.

Don’t wait until you’re in pain or notice your teeth shifting!
