Last week Dr Zhang had the pleasure of presenting at the Bulleen Study Club on the topic of Combined Orthodontic–Orthognathic Surgery.
As one of the organising members and sponsors of the Study Club, Dr Zhang finds it rewarding to bring together colleagues and share knowledge, discuss challenging cases whilst promoting continued education within the dental community.
The evening focused on the collaborative management of patients requiring combined orthodontic and orthognathic surgery, including diagnosis, treatment planning, orthodontic preparation and the close collaboration between orthodontists, general dentists, and oral & maxillofacial surgeons to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.
A big thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the discussion. The thoughtful questions and case discussions made for a fantastic evening of learning, and it was wonderful to catch up with so many colleagues who share a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
