🦷Dental bridges are fixed prosthetic replacements that replace one, more or all teeth.

The lack of one tooth can be compensated in two ways:
➡Replace with implant and crown
➡A three-member bridge.

What types of dental bridges are there?
As with dental crowns, there are:
➡Metal-ceramic
➡Zircon-ceramic works.

Metal-ceramic bridges are standard today, and zircon ceramics are aesthetically superior. 💎

How do you best brush your teeth?💎

📈Many are convinced that they take good care of their oral health, but is that really the case? The average person brushes their teeth once a day and rarely uses dental floss. In order to help you, we bring you tips on how best to brush your teeth.

🧼Choose the correct brush
Wondering what is the best toothbrush for sensitive teeth? Contrary to popular belief, hard bristle brushes combined with poor washing techniques often affect gum retraction. In addition, they can damage the enamel and the root of the tooth. For this reason, it is recommended to choose brushes with soft bristles regardless of the level of sensitivity of the teeth. They are more flexible and will gently clean tooth surfaces without any harmful consequences.

🦷Buy fluoride toothpaste
The toothpaste you use should contain fluoride to remove bacteria and reduce the risk of tooth decay. In addition, it improves the quality of tooth enamel to keep teeth healthy and white.

👋Clean all tooth surfaces
Food particles often remain between the teeth and along the gum line where they can collect and encourage the formation of bacteria that cause tooth decay. A common mistake we make when brushing our teeth is to focus only on visible places.

🕑Teeth should be brushed for 2-3 minutes
You often wonder how long it takes to brush your teeth? The dentist's recommendation is to brush your teeth twice a day, in the morning and in the evening before going to bed.

What are the health effects of missing teeth?😢

👉In some cases, there may be little or no impact. Depending on the location of the missing tooth, you may not notice a gap in your mouth. This could be the case if you are missing a tooth in the back or side of your mouth.

But your teeth are designed to work together, so the lack of one or more teeth can sometimes affect speech, eating, and eventually cause other problems. For example, if you find it harder or uncomfortable to chew food, it can lead to chewing on just one side of your mouth or eating at a much slower pace.

Lack of teeth can affect your jaw and facial muscles as well as change the shape of your face. Also, your bite may change and the remaining teeth may move.📐

This can cause other problems such as tooth sensitivity, tooth grinding and difficulty chewing! 🍕

Dental implants are the go-to option when you have to replace one tooth or when you are missing several teeth on different parts of the mouth.😁

🛠This treatment involves the surgical implantation of a titanium metal frame in the upper or lower jaw. A replacement tooth is then placed on the implant, which allows the tooth to stay in place!

Basically, a dental implant provides a permanent foundation for a replacement tooth. The biggest advantage is that a replacement tooth resembles a natural tooth and can last for decades.💡

📌Another advantage of implants is that nearby teeth are not involved in the manufacturing process (such as a bridge), so the rest of the tooth remains intact!

Do not go to bed without brushing your teeth! 😴

It is no secret that the general recommendation is to brush your teeth at least twice a day.🦷

💡However, many of us neglect brushing our teeth in the evening, so here are some tips for brushing your teeth properly:

✔️Brush correctly
The way you brush your teeth is very important. Badly brushing your teeth is almost as bad as not brushing them at all. Take your time. By moving the toothbrush with gentle, circular motions, you effectively remove plaque. Unremoved plaque can harden, which encourages the accumulation of stones and the appearance of gingivitis (gum disease).

✔️Do not forget your tongue
Plaque can also accumulate on the tongue, which can promote bad breath but also contribute to other health and oral problems. Gently brush your tongue every time you brush your teeth.

✔️Use fluoride toothpaste
When it comes to toothpaste, one should be careful.

👉In choosing the right toothpaste, pay more attention to the fluoride content in it.

😁Applying fluoride toothpaste is considered to be the simplest way to prevent tooth decay.

We believe that books, workbooks and other school tasks are in order, but what about the teeth? 📚

Below are 5️⃣ reasons why your kids should visit the dentist before finishing school.

🏬If there is a specific problem or infection, you have time to solve the problem by the end of the school year so the child will not be absent from school unnecessarily.

💪The dentist will protect the baby's teeth with fluoride to strengthen the enamel and prevent caries.

😁Dental examinations are an ideal time to look at the tonsils. Enlarged or inflamed tonsils can affect a child’s health, sleep or concentration.

🦷For parents who struggle with children who do not want to brush their teeth, it will be good to go to the dentist where they will discuss the importance of good oral hygiene!

💬They will receive motivating and personalized advice on how to use a brush and floss so they will have more willpower to maintain healthy habits!

🧼Dental curettage - This is the removal of accumulated plaque below the surface of the gums, or from the root of the tooth.

😢When your gums are swollen and bleeding, it’s most likely that bacterias have managed to affect the deeper structures of the supporting part of the tooth.

If you continue to neglect the situation and the inflammation (periodontitis) progresses, the stability and health of your teeth are seriously endangered!🦷

🔎 Curettage is performed with special instruments whose goal is to remove tartar and bacteria from the root surface of the tooth. It is performed under local anesthesia which makes the procedure painless. It can be performed on an individual tooth or all teeth depending on how much area is affected.

📃At the end of the treatment, the dentist will disinfect the area with an antiseptic solution, and prescribe you an antibiotic, if there is an indication for the same.

It will also give you detailed instructions on maintaining oral hygiene, as it is crucial in the outcome of treatment outcomes.💡

The procedure lasts from 10-90 minutes depending on the number of teeth on which it is necessary to perform curettage!🕒
