6 Porcelain Veneers — From Preparation to the Final Smile

Many patients worry that porcelain veneers mean removing a lot of healthy tooth structure or that the final result won’t look natural.

In this video, I show the complete process of 6 porcelain veneers, step by step:

• Preparing the teeth conservatively
• Making and placing the temporary veneers, so the patient can go home with a beautiful smile while the final veneers are being made — usually within 10 working days
• The next appointment: try-in and cementation of the final veneers
• Finally, fitting a night guard to help protect the veneers

As a cosmetic dentist, every smile I design is tailored to the individual. I consider facial features, smile dynamics, personality, and, most importantly, my patient’s goals to create a result that looks natural and harmonious.

Before proceeding with the final veneers, I create a composite mock-up so patients can preview the proposed length, shape, and proportions. Only when they love the design do we move forward with the final restorations.
