Before & after: a broken front tooth, restored with porcelain veneers 🦷
A knock, a fall, biting something hard — front teeth chip and break more easily than people expect, and it's one of the most common reasons patients come to see us.
These images show the clinical outcome for this individual patient: two porcelain veneers placed over the broken upper front teeth, colour-matched to her surrounding teeth and shaped to her natural smile line.
A few honest points about porcelain veneers:
• A thin layer of tooth is usually prepared so the veneer sits flush
• Colour, shape and outcome vary from person to person
• They aren't permanent — veneers may need maintenance or replacement over time
• Suitability depends on your bite, gum health and how much natural tooth remains
Every case is different. A consultation with a registered dental practitioner is the only way to know what's appropriate for you.
