We’re super excited to introduce the newest addition to our growing family: ⭐️ DR JIM⭐️

If you’ve had the pleasure of already meeting Dr Jim over the past few months, you’ll know that Dr Jim has a kind and gentle personality, whose calming nature will put anyone at ease in the chair.

Dr Jim graduated with the Bachelor of Oral Health in 2013 and recently graduated with the Doctor of Dental Medicine at the end of 2022, both from the University of Sydney and has been working as a dental practitioner in private practice for almost 10 years, servicing several different metro regions within Sydney.

He enjoys taking the time to listen to his patient's concerns and educating them not only on the importance of preventive care, but also on how they can personally achieve their best oral health and ideal smile, taking a calm and gentle approach to address their concerns. He is committed to continuously updating his professional knowledge and skills in order to keep up with the ever dynamic nature of dentistry to provide his patients with the highest standard of care

Outside of dentistry, Dr Jim enjoys a fit and healthy lifestyle and loves being involved in a variety of sports including Oz tag, basketball, gymming, swimming and hiking.

Let’s talk about wisdom teeth! 🦷
One of the most common questions we get asked is whether wisdom teeth need to be removed.
And the answer is: it depends 👀

Wisdom teeth that have erupted straight and in good alignment may never need to be removed if they can be kept clean!

However many people may have impacted or partially erupted wisdom teeth which can end up causing us problems such as:

🐰🐣 Easter has really hopped up quickly this year and whilst it is an egg-citing time with all these sweet treats we need to take eggs-tra care of our teeth!

To ensure that everyone’s teeth stay as healthy as the Easter Bunny’s we recommend these simple steps:
1. 🍭🍫 Try and restrict sweet treats to meal times, rather than snacking on them between meals.
2. 🪥 Don’t forget the basics - Brush and floss twice daily
3. Drink water lots of water 💧 drinking water after chocolate and sweet treats will help to wash away any built up sugars left in your mouth
