Dear patients

After a long 15 weeks of emergency and essential treatment only, we’re back open as normal! We’d like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding as we’ve navigated our way through this challenging lockdown period.

We wish to advise you that for the time being we have some protocols in place for appointments. We want you all to know that we highly value all our patients equally and we want you all to feel comfortable attending for your dental treatment.

Adults attending for dental treatment or attending with a child who is having dental treatment must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination OR show a negative COVID-19 test result (test MUST have been done less than 48 hours prior to appointment). Please note, no patient will be denied treatment regardless of their vaccination status, please call us to discuss your options. If you’re unvaccinated we respectfully ask that you call us to make your appointment rather than using our online bookings.

It is our hope that will not have to keep these protocols long term, but for the time being with so many cases still in the community, we are doing what we feel is best to keep the practice open and to keep our patients as safe as possible whether they’re vaccinated or not.

For your peace of mind, all staff at Dental Serenity have been fully vaccinated. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Dear patients

Due to Dental Serenity being situated in one of the lockdown areas, we have taken the precautionary measure of only seeing patients who have emergencies or need urgent work for the period of 26 June - 2 July.

Whilst this is not compulsory for us, we feel it’s in the best interests of the community to limit the amount of patients we see and to keep each other safe.

All non-urgent treatment will be postponed to a later date. If you have an appointment booked for next week, we will be in touch shortly to discuss your appointment.

If you have a dental emergency please call us on 93492296 during business hours or email us at [email protected] at any time.

Stay safe everyone!

We’d like to wish everyone an amazing Christmas! 🎄

Thank you to each and every one of our wonderful patients for your support this year, it hasn’t been easy but when you’ve got wonderful patients like ours, it definitely makes the difficult times worthwhile!

Please note, we are now closed for 2020 and we will be reopening on Monday the 11th of January 2021. Online bookings can be made via our website.

Should you find yourself experiencing a dental emergency that can’t wait until we reopen, please email us at [email protected]. This is the only way to contact us while we’re closed and we will be checking our emails regularly to ensure everyone is looked after.

We’re not sure the chaos is over yet but we’ve survived thus far! 😁😁 Thank you to one of our lovely patients, for gifting us these beautiful handmade ceramic charms. Perhaps we should use them as Christmas tree ornaments? What do you think? 🎄

It’s official! We are on level one restrictions , which means if you have no cold or flu symptoms , and have not been in contact with a covid risk situation, we can do all your regular dental treatments.

No more wondering if you have to put up with plaque , stains and tartar. We can clean your teeth again! No more putting things off till it hurts!

We will still be doing social distancing , and all the other steps to reduce risks to our patients.

A big thank you to all of you for your continued messages of support, your patience with us rescheduling appointments and delaying treatments.

Thank you for doing such a great job of social distancing and isolation that we can return to work so soon.

Very proud of our fellow Australians for working together to slow the curve.

Looking forward to seeing you all again 😀

Great news! With the government downgrading dentistry to level 2 restrictions we will be back next week to more regular treatments. There are still some procedures we have to delay , but this is welcome news..... looks like we have to hurry up and finish the painting!

Dear patients,

With the COVID-19 situation continuing to worsen in NSW and 30% of the cases occurring in the Eastern Suburbs area, it is with very careful consideration that we have made the decision to close our doors temporarily.

Despite our best efforts to protect our patients and ourselves, we feel the risk has become too great and the longer we remain open, the greater that risk becomes. With our ever increasing need to upgrade our Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to protect ourselves, we’ve made the decision to stop putting unnecessary strain on the already struggling PPE industry so these supplies can go to where they’re most required, our hospitals.

At this stage, we are unsure of when we will be able to reopen but we will be sure to inform you as soon as we know. Should you need to contact us while we’re closed, we’re always available via email ([email protected]) and we’re also in the process of having our phones diverted so you will be able to call us. We will endeavour to return your email or call as soon as possible.

We thank you all for your understanding during this difficult time.

We would like to reassure our patients that none of our dentists or staff attended the ADX dental trade show this weekend.

This decision was made after consideration for the need to reduce contact with large gatherings as per the governments advice.

We are continuing to employ the universal infection control measures that is standard of care for our practice. We take pride in our infection control, and as usual endeavour to provide high quality dental care in a safe environment.
