✨ Welcome Dr Zena Ibrahim to Margaret River Dental! ✨

We’re delighted to introduce the newest member of our team at Margaret River Dental, Dr Zena Ibrahim 🦷

Dr Zena completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Western Australia. She is known for her compassionate, holistic approach to care and her ability to build strong rapport with patients, helping them feel calm, comfortable and genuinely cared for.

Zena has a special interest in working with neurodiverse patients, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD, and is highly experienced in supporting patients who experience dental anxiety or dental phobia. She also has a wonderful way with children, using patience and connection to make dental visits a positive experience.

Zena’s been recognised for her work in trauma informed care in dentistry, by being asked to present on this topic to the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). AHPRA is the Government Department who regulate health practitioners in Australia and manage the Dental Board of Australia, so it is a validation of the work she has done in this area, and considered a subject matter expert in this field.

Community Work:
Zena is a passionate advocate for the advancement of women in dentistry and for improving access to oral health care in underserved communities. She serves on several professional boards and plays an active role in shaping the future of dental practice in Western Australia.

Zena also regularly volunteers her time with local community initiatives, such as soup kitchens.

Personal Life:
When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find Zena enjoying everything the Margaret River lifestyle has to offer — caring for her plants and cats, walking along the beach, going for a dive, or learning to surf 🌊

We will be taking a break between Christmas and New Year to give our staff a well deserved break!

🌟 Introducing Dr Lin Chai – Joining Margaret River Dental in January 2026! 🌟

We’re excited to welcome Dr Lin Chai to the Margaret River Dental team!

Lin is a warm and friendly dentist with a strong focus on general and family dentistry. She has a wonderful ability to help patients feel relaxed and comfortable throughout their treatment, and we know our community will love her approachable manner.

Since graduating from the University of Western Australia in 2012, she has worked in some remote parts of WA, however she has now chosen to settle down in the South West.

In addition to her work in our clinic, Lin also works with the Royal Flying Doctor Service, providing much-needed dental care to some of the most remote regions of Western Australia. Her dedication to helping others truly reflects the values we’re proud to uphold.
