Meet Sarah, our wonderful Practice Manager!

Chances are, if you’re a patient at GO Orthodontics, you’ve already had the pleasure of meeting Sarah!

Sarah has been part of the GO Orthodontics journey from the very beginning and brings an incredible 27 years of experience in orthodontics to our team, having started her career with the much-loved late Dr John Jenner.

A true wealth of knowledge, Sarah is always ready to lend a helping hand, whether it’s supporting our patients, sharing her expertise with our team, or making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

We’re so lucky to have Sarah as part of the GO family!

Next time you pop into the clinic, if you haven’t met Sarah yet, be sure to say hello and share a big smile with her! 😁

That’s the GO Orthodontics difference.

When should your child have their first orthodontic assessment?

Did you know the ideal age for a first orthodontic assessment is around 8 years old?

At this age, a mix of baby and adult teeth are usually present, allowing Dr Goh to assess your child’s developing bite, jaw growth and the position of their adult teeth.

But does that mean they’ll need braces straight away? Not necessarily!

Even when treatment isn’t required yet, Dr Goh can monitor their growth and development, identify potential concerns early and determine the most appropriate time to intervene if needed.

Early assessment doesn’t always mean early treatment, it means having a plan and knowing what to look out for as your child grows.

That’s The GO Ortho Difference, personalised care, thoughtful planning and the right treatment at the right time.

Braces on & full of smiles!

Our gorgeous patient had her braces placed today and we think she’s absolutely rocking them! And that bright pink colour? Such a fun choice!

Even better, she’s now officially braces twins with our assistant Charlotte, who had her braces placed just two weeks ago!

Now they can share the highs, the changes, the colours and the smiles as they go through their orthodontic journeys together. 🦷

🎃👻 Happy October! 👻🎃

It’s officially spooky season, so naturally our Colour of the Month had to get a little Halloween-inspired!

And speaking of spooky transformations… how gorgeous is our clinic assistant Charlotte, who has officially started her very own braces journey!

We can’t wait to follow along and see that smile transform!

Who else is ready to get into the Halloween spirit? 🎃

POV: It’s 2010 vs 2026 in the orthodontic chair… 😂

Then: Mix the alginate. Load the tray. Insert. Bite down. Try not to gag.

Now: ✨ Just scan! ✨

Our TRIOS digital scanner captures a detailed 3D image of your teeth without traditional impression material making the process quick, clean and much more comfortable.

Technology has definitely levelled up!

From messy impressions to digital precision.

Correcting an open bite without surgery.

This patient’s smile was treated using clear aligners combined with TADs (temporary anchorage devices) to help gently move the back teeth upward and improve the open bite.

An open bite occurs when the upper and lower teeth don’t meet properly when biting together. In this case, we used a combination of clear aligner therapy and carefully planned molar intrusion to help improve the way the teeth come together and all through a non-surgical orthodontic approach.

A great example of how modern orthodontics can combine different techniques to achieve a carefully planned result.

Individual treatment results vary. Treatment suitability and outcomes depend on each patient’s individual circumstances.

It’s all in the finishing touches.

A little behind-the-scenes look at laser gum recontouring with Dr Goh.

As you can see, our patient is relaxed in the chair while Dr Goh carefully carries out this finishing procedure.

At Go Orthodontics, we believe the little details matter, it’s all part of the Go Ortho difference.

Treatment suitability varies between patients and is assessed by your treating clinician.

How interesting is this?!

Have you ever wondered what actually happens beneath the surface while your teeth are moving?

Take a look at this short video to see how your teeth gradually move through the bone during orthodontic treatment. What you see on the outside is only part of the process, there is a fascinating amount of biology happening underneath!

Braces are an incredible tool, but the real magic comes from combining advanced orthodontic techniques with careful treatment planning and the expertise of a specialist orthodontist.

Every tooth movement is carefully controlled to create a healthy, functional and beautifully balanced smile.
