At just 13 months old, Ziggy came in for his very first dental check-up with Dr Becky made even more special because his mum Olivia is one of our own dental assistants!

We did a knee-to-knee exam, a gentle, reassuring way for babies and toddlers to have their teeth checked while sitting safely in a parent's lap, face-to-face with the dentist.

First checks by 12 months (or when that first tooth pops through!) help set little ones up for a lifetime of healthy smiles and happy dentist visits.
