On Thursday 22 October, we’ll be hosting a morning tea at Absolute Medical Services to help raise funds for breast cancer research and support the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s vision of zero deaths from breast cancer.

✨ Welcome Dr Kasra Talebi Anaraki to Absolute Medical Services!

We are delighted to welcome Dr Anaraki to our team. A compassionate Medical Practitioner with over two years of clinical experience, Dr Anaraki has worked across rural hospital settings providing comprehensive care for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.

He has a strong clinical interest in chronic disease management, including diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular health, as well as skin conditions, mental health, and women’s health, including gynaecology and obstetrics.

As an International Medical Graduate, Dr Anaraki brings valuable global experience, cultural diversity and a strong commitment to delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care.

Influenza (flu) is serious, but isn’t as scary if you’re vaccinated. A flu vaccine offers you and your child the best protection from serious illness.

The yearly flu vaccine is free for children aged 6 months to under 5 years, Aboriginal children aged 6 months and over, and children with serious health conditions. It is recommended for everyone aged 6 months and over.

If your child is 2, 3 or 4 years old, they can get a free nasal spray flu vaccine in NSW. It is gentle, painless, and needle-free.

👋 Welcome Dr Thomas Brown!

A University of Sydney medical graduate, Dr Brown brings experience across pediatrics, emergency medicine, geriatrics, oncology, neurology, palliative care and urology. He previously worked at Wyong and Gosford Hospitals before moving into community practice.

Dr Brown is passionate about warm, patient-centered care and enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and families. He also has special interests in mental health, infectious diseases and chronic disease management, and was awarded the Semmelweis Prize in Clinical Infectious Diseases (2023).

Outside of work, Thomas enjoys time with his family and living a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
