Things that your dentist or hygienist will be looking for during regular check up and exam :
1: bleeding gum around dental implants (sign of inflammation)
2: loosening of parts of the implant bridge (a very simple problem to rectify but left unattended leads to a catastrophic results)
3: signs of unnecessary loading due to habits of bruxing or grinding , a very common finding.
Usually 2 and 3 are connected .
Please ensure that you take regular implant check ups seriously especially for the first 2-3 years
