Launceston Dental and Braeside Dental are looking for motivated Dental Nurse Trainees to join our team. No previous dental experience is required.
We are looking for people with the right attitude, reliability, communication skills and willingness to learn.
Over approximately 12 months, you will receive structured on-the-job training, dedicated mentorship and practical experience within a modern dental practice.
You will also be supported to complete your Certificate III in Dental Assisting through TAFE, with the training costs supported by the practice.

We want our trainees to understand how the whole dental practice works. During your training, you may learn about: chairside dental assisting; patient care and communication; preparing treatment rooms; infection control and sterilisation; dental instruments and equipment; reception and front desk systems; appointment coordination; administration; patient follow-up; practice organisation; working alongside dentists and other healthcare professionals; and understanding the full patient journey.
Our goal is to help you become a confident, well-rounded member of the dental team rather than simply learning one task.
