Dental health week 🦷 The mystery of the missing young adults…

This year’s Dental Health Week focuses on something we see all the time at work the “missing years.”

Children come every six months. Parents keep everyone on track…

…then around 18 years old lots of young adults vanish from the dental clinic.

A few years later, they’re suddenly back.

Usually with a beard.
Sometimes with a fiancée.
Almost always saying…

“I probably should have come in sooner.”

Sometimes they confess that they haven’t seen anyone else- very loyal patients here (and then I gulp- it may have been ten years between visits)
We do NOT encourage this! Please - there are hundreds of clinics on the east coast 🙂

The funny thing is—we’ve joked for years that young blokes only remember the dentist when a wedding is on the horizon… and honestly, we’ve been proven right more than once.

So if you’re 18–25 (or know someone who is), consider this your friendly reminder.

Don’t wait until six months before the wedding. 😉

We love it when our ‘kids’ keep coming in - sometimes home on holidays, often with a partner, sometimes passing through, sometimes with their own kids. Christmas holidays are often when we see the uni students.

I promise you will be thousands of dollars in front if you stay on top of the regular checkups!
