Most people associate cavities with sugar — but it’s not the whole story.

Frequent snacking, dry mouth, brushing habits, and even saliva quality can all influence your risk of tooth decay.

Small daily habits make a bigger difference than most people realise.

A regular Check & Clean helps us identify early signs of decay before they become bigger problems.

How long do clear aligners take?

It’s one of the most common questions and the answer isn’t the same for everyone.

Treatment timelines can vary depending on your teeth, your bite and your overall oral health. That’s why every plan starts with a thorough assessment.

Booking a consultation is the first step - giving you a clear understanding of your options, what’s involved and what timeline may be appropriate for you.

You know that feeling - when your teeth feel clean, smooth and just… better.

That’s more than just a nice result. It’s part of maintaining healthy teeth and gums, and understanding where your oral health stands.

A check and clean is often the first step, especially before considering treatments like whitening or clear aligners.

Because when you start with a healthy foundation, everything that follows becomes clearer and easier to plan.

Thinking about improving your smile?

This patient was treated with six porcelain veneers on their upper front teeth to address spacing and wear.

The result reflects a more even, balanced appearance - planned carefully around their individual needs and goals.

Every smile is different, which is why treatment always begins with a thorough assessment to determine what’s appropriate for you.

If you’re exploring your options, we’re here to guide you through what may be possible.

What does a Dentist's morning routine look like?

Coffee first, then it’s straight into reviewing cases, prepping aligners, setting up for the day and checking in with the team.

By the time the first patient arrives, everything’s ready to go.

You’ve booked the venue, sent the invites, chosen the dress…

But what about your smile?

If you’re getting married at the end of the year or early 2027, now’s the time to start thinking about it. Straightening teeth can take 6+ months and that’s before allowing time to assess your oral health and plan treatment appropriately.

Healthy gums and clean teeth come first. A check-up and professional clean help ensure everything is in a suitable position before considering options like clear aligners or whitening. Starting early gives you time to understand what’s involved and plan around your timeline without feeling rushed.

Because the best results aren’t last-minute decisions - they’re planned.

If you’re preparing for a special event, our team can help guide you through the first step. Get in touch today

Putting off the dentist is more common than you think.

For many people, it’s not just about time - it’s uncertainty, past experiences or not knowing what to expect.

That’s why we focus on starting with the basics. Healthy teeth and gums come first, and early checks help identify small issues before they become more complex.

Whether you’re thinking about aligners, whitening or simply getting back on track, it all begins with understanding your current oral health.

There’s no rush, and no pressure - just a clear plan, at a pace that works for you.

If you’ve been putting it off, we’re here when you’re ready.
