🦷 Dental Health Week is here! 🎉
This year’s Dental Health Week (3–9 August) is all about supporting young Australians aged 18–25 through the Australian Dental Association’s ‘My Smile’ campaign.
The transition into adulthood comes with plenty of new responsibilities - moving out, studying, starting a career, managing finances, and looking after your own health. Unfortunately, dental care is often pushed to the bottom of the list, with many young adults only visiting the dentist when they’re in pain.
With so much health advice shared online and across social media, it can be difficult to know what’s accurate. That’s why this year’s campaign encourages young Australians to build healthy habits early, seek trusted advice from dental professionals, and book regular check-ups before small problems become bigger (and more expensive) ones.

Last weekend before school goes back! ✏️🦷

These photos show one of our little patients at her very first visit in 2023 compared with 2026. At her first appointment, no treatment was completed - it was simply about getting familiar with the dental chair, meeting our team, and building confidence.
