DENTAL RECEPTIONIST – Full-Time or Part-Time – Monday to Friday
Bayfield Dental is seeking a highly motivated Receptionist to join our Team
The position is full time Monday to Friday with excellent remuneration for the right applicant. Part time 3 or 4 days per week will be considered for the right candidate. Location Rosny and Hobart practices.
Ideally, we would like someone with at least 2 years' experience in a similar role or has worked healthcare. The role involves being patient focused, having good communication skills and to excel at patient care. The Applicant should enjoy working in a team environment and would play a role in the general administration of the practice.
Role and Responsibilities: -
· Greeting patients and appointment scheduling, including emergency patients
· Handling phone and email enquiries
· Providing the highest quality of patient care and customer service
· Process payments including HICAPS, DVA claims, Medicare and CDBS
· Maintaining patient records, documentation and Medical Correspondence
· Maintain a tidy and welcoming working environment
Your skills to include but not limited to: -
Experience in working in a dental practice is preferred or some dental knowledge, but not essential as training will be provided
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
· An ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment when required
· Strong organisational and time management skills
· Proficient computer skills
· Friendly and caring customer service manner
· Ability to be discreet and follow privacy protocols
· Mature minded
· Can handle and manage stressful situations with ease and calmness
· Punctuality and reliability are essential with a good work ethic
