Flossing Fridays!
We get asked this question all the time - when should we start flossing our kids teeth? The answer is - it varies!
We generally recommend you start flossing when teeth start to touch (the points where adjacent teeth touch are called contact points) as these spots trap a lot of food and plaque which can cause decay in between teeth. It’s also a good habit to develop so that by the time they have their grown up teeth, they are already experts at flossing or having their teeth flossed!
This is an example of a 2 year old child after eating a punnet of blueberries!
