Part 1 | Soft Tissue Sculpting Around an Immediate Implant

Using an IT-CTG (Inverted T Connective Tissue Graft), I enhanced the interproximal papilla and repaired gingival recession on 21, creating a thicker, more protective tissue profile for the immediate implant on 11.

Through two VISTA tunneling incisions from labial → palatal, I created space and gentle papillary mobility—combining microsurgical precision and controlled tension release.

The custom-printed immediate provisional acted as a restorative scaffold, guiding soft-tissue healing and reducing black triangles during the maturation phase.

Finally, I met up with the legend, the ZAGA concept & ZAGA implant developer Dr. Carlos Aparicio with my brother .misagh.habibi

The course is well organized by David and the team and the Spanish buffet has been delicious every day! The growth of belly and puffy face are the evidence of happy eating. I am super excited about the next two days of more fun with this passionate group of extremely skilled specialists & dentists gathered from all around the world; drilling knowledge into our brains and zygomas! 🧲

🌟 Join Us at the Korean-Dental World Conference in New York!

I am extremely excited and honoured to be part of the K-Dental Conference with world class clinicians all around the world.

I will be running an immersive hands-on seminar on Digitally Guided All-On-X on the 3rd of May.

I am thrilled to share the outcome of my younger brother's CTG procedure.

Tooth 14 had a gum recession of 3.5mm pre-op with adjacent 15 also having a mm of recession. He complained of having too much sensitivity when we were out on holiday enjoying a beautiful cocktails with our family.

I told him he's getting a microsurgery done to correct the gingiva when he visits me in Melbourne

I started the surgery with micro-scalpel from .zuhr .zuhr

Beautiful instrument and blade to do the work but when you look at by brother's tissue I can see my periodontal probe shining through underneath. That shows that he has a thin biotype and made the physical access coronally.

In order to preserve the thin tissue from tearing I had to create a VISTA access coined by adjacent to the canine. Unfortuantely, on thin biotype it can create a small scar tissue once the healing is completed hence the access size was minimised as much as possible.

I harvested the tissue from the maxillary tuberosity as he lives overseas.
This site heals up beautifully without any post-op pain.

Sling suture was used to hold the tissues coronally and the post-op photograph was documented almost 5 months since the surgery.
