PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE MEMBERS

If you are a member of any of the major health funds then we can process your claim quickly and easily at your appointment by swiping your membership card on our HICAPs terminal. This will deduct your benefit from your health fund leaving only the gap payment remaining.
Children who have dental extra’s cover with their health are entitled to ‘Gap-Free’ examinations!
If you have any questions about the services you are entitled to and your benefit coverage we recommend you obtain a quote for your treatment and then contact your health fund to enquire what costs are covered by them.

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS WHEN… YOU GET A FISSURE SEAL? 🦷✨

Fissure seals are a simple preventative treatment that can help protect the deep grooves and pits of your teeth.

These grooves can be difficult to clean thoroughly with a toothbrush, allowing plaque and food particles to collect. A fissure seal creates a protective barrier over these areas.

So, what actually happens?

From cleaning and preparing the tooth to applying and curing the sealant, the process is usually quick and straightforward. We’ve broken it down into 6 simple steps, so you know what to expect! 🦷

Fissure seals aren’t necessarily needed for everyone, your dentist will assess your teeth and let you know whether they’re suitable for you.

A night worth celebrating ✨

On Friday, our team had the pleasure of attending the ADAVB Awards Night in the city and what a fun night it was!

We got dressed up, enjoyed a few drinks and plenty of laughs, and celebrated a special achievement together. 🥂

At the last minute, unfortunately Kaitlin couldn’t make it, but as you can see, she was there in spirit!

We’re so proud to have been awarded the ADAVB BOQ Specialist CPD Practice Bursary, and even more excited for what’s ahead as we continue learning, growing and investing in our team.

Your tongue can play a bigger role in your oral health than you might think!

The surface of your tongue has lots of tiny grooves and bumps where bacteria, food particles and debris can build up. These bacteria can produce compounds that contribute to bad breath.

👅 Our tip: Gently clean your tongue as part of your daily oral hygiene routine. You can use your toothbrush or a tongue scraper, just remember, there’s no need to scrub hard!

While cleaning your tongue can help, persistent bad breath can have many different causes, so it’s worth chatting with your dentist if it doesn’t go away.
