Greenvale Dentistry began as a single chair solo practice established by Dr Alfonso Sammassimo in 1997, operating in conjunction with the Greenvale Medical Centre. In 2010, with a growing team, Greenvale Dentistry relocated to our current home at 10 Greenvale Drive, Greenvale VIC 3059. Our new clinic has been equipped with modern facilities to ensure patient comfort, state-of-the-art equipment and

the latest technology. With Dr Huong Nguyen joining us in 2011 and our experienced hygienist, Teagan Tempini joining in 2012, Greenvale Dentistry is able offer a comprehensive range of dental services to our patients, 6 days a week. Above all, here at Greenvale Dentistry we believe in honest, ethical dentistry through exceptional service.

A little behind-the-scenes CPR training at Greenvale Dentistry.
We recently had the St John Ambulance Australia team come to the practice for our CPR training and refresher.
It was a great opportunity to get the whole team together, refresh important skills and practise how we would respond in an emergency.
A valuable afternoon of learning, practising and spending some time together as a team.

Meet Sandra from our Greenvale dental team.
Sandra joined Greenvale Dentistry in 2012 as a junior trainee dental nurse. Over the years, she has grown into the dual role of senior receptionist and senior clinical nurse—and has become one of the familiar faces our patients know so well.
Whether you’re making an appointment, have a question about your treatment or need a balloon for your little one, Sandra is always happy to help.
These days, life outside the practice is busy with her two children. But when she finds a little time to herself, she still loves settling in with a good soapie.
After all these years, Sandra’s warmth, welcoming smile and unmistakable booming laugh continue to fill the practice!

Looking after your child’s teeth doesn’t have to be complicated.
A few simple habits can help support healthy teeth and positive dental experiences as they grow:
Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste. Young children may need help to brush effectively.
Clean between teeth once their teeth touch — brushing alone can’t reach every surface.
Choose water between meals and keep sugary snacks and drinks occasional.
Protect their teeth during sport with a properly fitted mouthguard.
Keep up with regular dental check-ups so they can become comfortable at the dentist and we can monitor their developing teeth.

Small habits now can make a big difference over time.

Meet Kate.

Kate is one of our senior dental nurses. She brings a calm and reassuring presence to the practice and particularly enjoys assisting with intricate endodontic treatments, where she loves the detail and precision involved.

Kate is a favourite amongst our youngest patients — and for good reason. As mum to a cheeky two-year-old herself, she has a natural ease and understanding that helps even the most anxious little ones feel comfortable.

Outside of work, she loves relaxed family road trips and spending quality time with her family.

Dr Tint Won, attained her Doctor of Dentistry at the University of Melbourne. Although originally from Sydney, after almost a decade with our Greenvale Dentistry team, we’ve decided to make her an Honorary Melbournian.

She is proficient in all aspects of dentistry with a real passion for cosmetic dentistry — creating stunning smile makeovers with veneers, teeth whitening, and smile design that boost confidence and look completely natural.

Outside of work she enjoys strength training, tanning at the beach, cooking and spending time with her friends and family.
