🏗️ First Look at Our Future Home

Yesterday, some of our team had the chance to step inside our future Greenbank Family Dental clinic 2 mins down the road at Old Pub Lane for the very first time.

There is still plenty of work ahead, but seeing the space come to life was incredibly exciting. As we walked through the future surgeries, reception area and clinical spaces, it was hard not to imagine welcoming our patients through the doors for the first time.

This project represents much more than a new building. It is a reflection of the trust our community has placed in us over the past several years. Thanks to the support of families throughout Greenbank, Flagstone, Yarrabilba and surrounding areas, we have outgrown our current space and are building a new home designed to support the next chapter of care for our community.

Most importantly, while the building will be new, our commitment remains exactly the same — personalised care, familiar faces, and a genuine focus on helping people feel comfortable and confident about their dental health.

📍 Our current East Sentinel Drive clinic remains open and operating as normal.

📍 Our new purpose-built clinic at Old Pub Lane is currently progressing through construction and fit-out, with opening planned for the second half of 2026.

🌱 26 Local Children. 26 Trees Planted. 🦷💚

Our recent in-centre dental visits at Active Kids Greenbank were about so much more than just checking smiles.

Over the April visits, 26 local children were able to experience gentle, positive dental care in a familiar environment — helping build confidence, healthy habits, and positive early experiences around oral health.

Some little ones arrived nervous at first, but by the end were proudly wearing their dental glasses, showing off their smiles, and enjoying their dental goody bags 😊

And thanks to every child and family involved, 26 native trees will now be planted through our Healthy Smiles, Healthy Forests initiative 🌳

These latest trees are being planted as part of the Doonan Community Restoration Project on the Sunshine Coast — supporting Queensland ecological restoration, biodiversity, and healthier futures for the next generation.

At Greenbank Family Dental, every child participating in the Active Kids program is recognised as a valued community referral, meaning:
✨ 1 child visit = 1 tree planted

This now brings the Active Kids Greenbank partnership total to:
🌳 43 trees planted overall

And we’re not finished yet… with more little ones still to be seen during our final May visit 😊

Following the success of these visits, we’re incredibly excited to continue providing 6-monthly in-centre dental programs to support local children and families in a positive, comfortable, and educational setting.

A huge thank you to the amazing educators, parents, and little superstars at Active Kids Greenbank for helping make this program such a meaningful success 💙
