We found out we were nominated for a Local Business Award a few weeks ago, and attended the awards last night at QT hotel.

We had zero expectations as we were in a category with some amazing and very established dental practices.

Needless to say we WON! And we were flabbergasted.

Thank you to everyone who voted for us, and nominated us. Our patients are the reason we get out of bed in the morning and its an honour to be able to look after them all.

Yesterday our biggest kid, Patrick got his braces on with the incredible Dr Seema from Rise Orthodontics at Varsity. In case you *mist* it… a nasal spray flu vaccine is now being subsidised for kids up to 17 years old. Available at most chemists, it’s a no needle vaccination to help keep the flu season under control. My kids agreed and got vaccinated on Sunday! I battle with this EVERY year 🙌

Fresh Family Dental is looking for a casual dental assistant for 2-3 days.

The role requires flexibility to cover shifts where staff will be on holiday, and the occasional half day Saturday.

About you:
No dental experience required!
We are happy to fully train the right person.
We need someone with an easy-going personality, great patient care, an exceptional sense of humour, attention to detail and the ability to work closely with a number of dentists. The role is chair side, meaning you will be assisting with dental procedures, sterilising, cleaning and monitoring stock.
You will also be cross trained in reception and admin duties.

About us:
We are a small team who have been working together for the last 6 years.
One of our staff members has recently changed her Visa status and so has needed to change her availability.
We have a strong focus on family dental care – treating many members of the same family of all different ages. We undertake all aspects of general dental care, with some limited orthodontic and implant treatment.
