Learning, refining, applying, learning again; its a cycle.
I’m a better dentist now than I was twenty years ago and better than I was last week. I’m not yet the best I can be.
Materials and techniques have changed and I am lucky to have years of experience upon which to draw, when applying new knowledge.
It’s up to me to help my patients understand their health. Communication between dentist and patient has been transformed. I have so many opportunities for better verbal and visual communication than I had when I started out.
It’s up to me, as a dental professional, to seek out the new, assess it, practice it and use it, for the better health of my patients.
That’s what keeps me coming back every day.
