We also bulk bill children aged 2-17 years who are eligible for receiving the Medicare Dental Benefit Scheme payment. This scheme is allowing children to recieve important dental treatments, with $1000 in capped benefits being offered per child. We are looking for:
- A Can-Do Attitude.
- Customer Service Skills.
- Willingness to Learn and Adapt.
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting Preferred (But Not Necessary)
- 6 Months Experience. (However, Training on the Job for the Right Applicant).
- Hourly Rate Based on Experience
- Holding a Current Driver’s License. (Or in Progress)
- Police Check and Working with Children’s Check is Required on Start Date.

Today is World Head and Neck Cancer Day.

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, cancer referrals have plummeted by 30% at some cancer centres.

Unlike some more common cancers, there is NO screening test for head and neck cancer so all Australians, particularly men, need to be aware of the signs and symptoms and act quickly if they notice something unusual.

Head and neck cancer is three times more common in men with males accounting for 70 percent of the 5,100 people who are diagnosed with head and neck cancer every year.

We know that the earlier we catch these cancers, the better people do. Our message to all Australians on World Head and Neck Cancer Day is to know the signs and symptoms of head and neck cancer, know your body, listen to what it’s telling you and make an appointment with your GP or dentist if you have any concerns.

Symptoms of head and neck cancer can include a sore in the mouth that doesn’t heal, pain swallowing, a sore throat or a lump in the neck. Other symptoms can include ear pain, a blocked nose on one side and/or bloody discharge or a bulging or watery eye.
