Your toothbrush has been trying to tell you something.
Dr Nelson on the two things that actually matter:
→ Replace every two to three months. Standard rule.
→ But if your bristles splay before that, you're pushing too hard.
Splayed bristles aren't a sign of a thorough clean. They're a sign of pressure. And that pressure is doing more damage than the brush is fixing.
Soft bristles. Light hand. Let the brush do the work.
