Dental infections and swellings may seem like a minor inconvenience, but they can quickly escalate into a serious health issue. Ignoring dental problems can lead to painful and potentially life-threatening conditions. Here are some of the dangers of dental infections and swellings:

-Tooth loss: Tooth decay and gum disease can cause tooth loss, which not only affects your appearance but also your ability to chew food and speak properly.

- Bone loss: When a tooth is lost or extracted, the bone that supports it begins to deteriorate. This can lead to further tooth loss and can even affect the structure of your face.

- Spread of infection: Dental infections can spread to other parts of the body, such as the heart, lungs, and brain. This can lead to serious health complications, including sepsis, meningitis, and pneumonia.

- Swelling: Swelling in the face, neck, or jaw can be a sign of a serious dental problem, such as an abscess. If left untreated, the swelling can worsen and become life-threatening.

We understand that dental emergencies can happen at any time, which is why we operate from 7 am to 9 pm, seven days a week. This ensures that you receive the necessary care when you need it the most. Our team is committed to providing prompt and effective treatment for your dental emergency, so you can avoid any further complications and restore your oral health.

Remember, early intervention is key to avoiding serious dental health issues. If you're experiencing a dental emergency, don't hesitate to call Adelaide Dental Emergencies at 0468 456 433. Our team is here to provide you with the necessary care and treatment to alleviate your pain and discomfort.

An important message to all our lovely patients and those wanting to be our patients.
We are all going through very difficult times. We are under attack by a virus, something so small that can cause so much harm. We are all having to do our bit to try to eradicate it from our population. We are having the 3 S’s drummed into us and I’m sure we are all obeying. SANITIZE, SOCIAL DISTANCE, STAY AT HOME.
Though we form an essential service to our community we have been directed by our regulator to cease non-essential treatments and only offer emergency care, which includes treatment of broken teeth, infections, swellings, trauma etc.
We will be following the regulators lead immediately and will be cancelling all non-essential treatments until the restrictions are removed.
We will be able to continue our emergency service between the hours of 7am and 9pm 7days/week. If you or someone you know needs to see a dentist for emergency care please call us on 0468 456 433
We hope you all keep safe, obey the 3 S’s look after the elderly in your lives and emerge with health, mental and physical.
We wish you all the best,
The team at Adelaide Dental Emergencies
