Dear Patients and Local Community,

Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, Ferny Hills Dental will remain temporarily closed until Wednesday 14th October, in line with the closure of Ferny Village Shopping Centre.

The health and safety of our patients and staff remain our highest priority, and we will only reopen once it has been confirmed that it is safe to do so.

We will provide further updates as soon as more information becomes available and our reopening date is confirmed.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and greatly appreciate your patience, understanding and continued support.

Teeth Whitening

A brighter smile is one of the simplest lifts there is — and professional whitening does it properly. Stronger and more controlled than shelf-bought kits, with less sensitivity, it's tailored to your teeth. We'll check your oral health first and be honest about what whitening can and can't do — it won't change crowns, veneers or fillings, for instance. Done right, it's a quick, satisfying refresh. ✨

Honestly, Now…

Time for some honesty in the comments: do you brush twice a day, every day — really? Morning's easy enough, but that last brush before bed is the one a lot of us skip when we're tired. No judgement here — we just like knowing where everyone's at. (And yes, flossing counts too, if you're feeling brave enough to admit it.) 💬

Dental Emergencies

A broken tooth, a sudden ache, swelling that flares without warning — dental emergencies never pick a good time. We prioritise emergency appointments, so you're not left toughing it out. If something's wrong and you're unsure how urgent it is, call us — we'd far rather you checked than waited in pain. Quick, gentle help when you need it most. 💙

Get More From Your Cover

Getting value from your health cover is easier here than you might think. We're a preferred provider for Medibank, Bupa, HCF, NIB, TUH and CBHS — meaning lower out-of-pocket costs for members — and we accept all other funds too, claiming on the spot with HICAPS. We also bulk-bill eligible children and DVA cardholders. Bring your card along; there may be more available to you than you realise. 💙

Dental Implants

A missing tooth doesn't just leave a gap — over time, the teeth around it can drift and the bite can shift. A dental implant replaces it from the root up: a small titanium post topped with a natural-looking tooth, fixed firmly so it looks and works like your own. One of the most durable ways to fill a gap for good and keep the rest of your teeth where they belong. Suitability is assessed first. 🦷

Same-Day CEREC Crowns

A crown the old way meant two visits and a couple of weeks in a temporary. With our same-day CEREC technology, we design, make and fit your crown in a single appointment — so a damaged tooth is scanned, milled and restored while you wait. Less time off, no second trip, and you walk out with the finished tooth. Modern convenience, without compromising on quality. 📅

Prevention Beats Treatment

Our whole approach starts from a simple idea: it's far better to prevent a problem than to treat one. A regular check-up and clean is where that happens — removing the build-up brushing misses, and catching small issues like early decay or gum trouble while they're easy to deal with. It's the least dramatic appointment you'll have, and quietly the most valuable. Prevention really is better than the cure. 🪥
