Getting the kids ready for a new year of sport?
The ADA strongly recommends the use of a mouthguard in any sport or activity where collision or contact is likely, during both games and training. Participating in a regular sport/physical activity has fantastic benefits to both physical and mental wellbeing, but high-impact sports like hockey, football and rugby are especially bad for dental injuries. We often see kids after a game with anything from a relatively minor chipped tooth through to more serious issues.
So while you’re checking if their shoes and shin pads are still good to go you should book them in for a dental check up to see if their mouth guards are still fit for use. The best mouth guards are the ones custom made and fitted by your dentist, offering the best protection against the rough-and-tumble of sports. So use the Book Now button above and come see us and protect those precious pearly whites 😁
