We welcome Dr Erica Chan to our dental care!
Dr Erica is a local Melbournite and completed her studies at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. She is passionate about creating a comfortable and supportive environment where patients feel heard and at ease during their dental visits. Having a needle phobia herself, Erica approaches dentistry with empathy and a genuine understanding of patient concerns while delivering high-quality care.
Erica is committed to providing comprehensive treatment planning and long-term preventative care for patients of all ages. She also contributes to a not-for-profit organisation, providing care to NDIS-supported patients, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and refugees.
Outside of the clinic, Erica enjoys staying active and is always seeking her next adventure. She loves exploring—whether that’s wandering through Melbourne’s CBD or heading out on a scenic hike. She is an avid indoor boulderer and also enjoys playing racquet sports such as badminton and table tennis.
With a strong appreciation for both art and music, Erica welcomes conversations about her patients’ creative interests. She has a lifelong passion for origami—an art form that unexpectedly helped inspire her journey into dentistry. Always curious and eager to explore, Erica is also open to recommendations for art exhibitions, live music, and great places to eat.
