🦷✨ A proud moment for Delivering Dental! ✨🦷

Today, our wonderful co-founders, Dr Tarra and Dr Sim, had the pleasure of presenting at the Paediatric Society of Queensland Conference on the beautiful Gold Coast! 🌴☀️

With a shared passion for children's oral health, it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded health professionals, share their knowledge and shine a little spotlight on the importance of healthy smiles from an early age. 💜

Here's to sharing knowledge, building connections and continuing to make little smiles a big priority! 🌈✨

Did you know your child's first dental visit is recommended by 12 months, or when their first tooth appears? 🦷

Early visits help children become familiar with the dental environment and can make future appointments feel fun, comfortable and stress-free.

These early appointments are also a great opportunity to discuss brushing, nutrition and healthy habits to help support growing smiles from the very beginning.

Small steps early can help create positive dental experiences for years to come

Nothing beats a confident smile! ✨

Children love celebrating healthy habits, especially when their favourite cuddly friend joins in. Every brush is another step towards a lifetime of healthy smiles.

🦷✨ Beautiful smiles at Kids & Co. Educational Academy! ✨🦷

We loved spending the day with the children at Kids & Co, providing dental check-ups in the comfort of their own early education centre. 💕🪥

Creating positive dental experiences from an early age is such an important part of what we do. By bringing dental care into a familiar environment, we can help little ones feel comfortable, confident and excited about looking after their smiles! 😁✨

A huge thank you to the wonderful Kids & Co team for welcoming Delivering Dental. We loved our visit and can’t wait to see you all again! 💛

👀👂 Some exciting news for Queensland kindy families!

We’re thrilled to see Queensland Health’s Healthy Kindy Kids program rolling out, providing FREE vision, hearing, speech and language screening for kindy-aged children. 🙌

At Delivering Dental, we’ve been eagerly awaiting the rollout of this program so that centres can benefit from government-funded developmental screening while we continue doing what we do best – providing dedicated oral health screening and education to children in their early learning environment. 🦷🧡

A fantastic initiative supporting early identification and giving Queensland children the healthiest possible start. 👏

👇 Check out the post from Sunshine Coast Health below for more information.

We’re aiming to give our littlest locals the healthiest possible start! 🫶

Our Women’s and Children’s Services are rolling out the Healthy Kindy Kids Program across the Sunshine Coast.

To further support their transition to school, the program will screen our kindy-aged children for:

👀 Vision
👂 Hearing
💬 Speech
🔤 Language development

The project officially kicks off this month, and screening will commence next year!

We’re excited to bring together the passion and skills of partners across health, education AND community sectors. 💛

Meet the superhero helping protect little smiles = fluoride!

Fluoride works hard behind the scenes to strengthen tooth enamel and help repair tiny weak spots before they become bigger problems.

Combined with good brushing habits and regular dental care, fluoride helps give growing teeth extra protection against tooth decay.

Every superhero has a job to do... and this one helps keep smiles strong and healthy

🦷✨ Sparkling smiles at Underwood! ✨🦷

Our wonderful clinician Danielle and Nurse Liliana had such a lovely visit with the children at Underwood! 💙

They had lots of fun talking all things teeth, practising brushing and helping the children learn how to keep their smiles healthy and happy. 🪥😁

We love being able to bring both oral health education and six-monthly dental check-ups directly into early education centres, making dental care a little easier for families and a positive experience for children.

Thank you for having us — Danielle and Liliana loved spending the day with you! 💙🦷✨

📖 The final pages… but the healthy smile adventure doesn’t end here! 🐯✨

After her visit to the dentist, Yira discovered that looking after her teeth can be fun, easy and something to feel proud of. 🦷

With Tickle Tiger by her side, Yira is ready to keep brushing, smiling and showing off her twinkle teeth every day!

And just like Yira, every little smile deserves a little encouragement, a little bravery and lots of happy brushing.

We hope you’ve enjoyed following Yira and Tickle Tiger’s adventure through Tickle Tiger & the Twinkle Teeth, written by Dr Sim, Dr Tarra and Ruth Tuxworth.

The story may be finished… but Yira’s healthy smile journey is only just beginning!
