The Kohesia Quartet represents the new project of jazz double bassist and composer Kate Pass. This unique ensemble serves as a platform for Kate’s original compositions and jazz influenced arrangements of traditional Persian songs. Recently nominated for a Music Award at Fringe World Festival and a WAM Song of the Year award, Kohesia Quartet comprises of a stellar line-up of jazz and Persian instrumentalists Reza Mirzaei (guitar, saz), Mike Zolker (oud), Esfandiar Shahmir (daf, ney) and Kate Pass (double bass).
