COVID-19 Update
At Beyond Dental we are continuing to practice business as usual as advised by WHO (World Health Organization) ADA (Australian Dental Association), Australian and local governments and the Infection Control guidelines. We are closely monitoring the situation regarding the Coronavirus(COVID-19) outbreak and following precautions as the situation changes.
Your health and safety as our patient is our priority. In the interests of the safety of staff, patients and community we ask that you reschedule your appointment if:
- You have travelled internationally in the past 14 days, please do not attend out clinic
- You are experiencing any of the COVID – 19 related symptoms such as: fever, breathing difficulties, cough, sore throat, fatigue or tiredness.
- If you have been in contact with anyone who has tested COVID-19 positive or travelled internationally in the past 14 days.
- If you are awaiting results for COVID- 19 testing.
How can we work together?
- Please use the Hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the clinic
- Respect this is a handshake free zone
- Payment with card to avoid handling cash would be preferred.
- Applying good hygiene habits such as coughing into arm, elbow or tissue. Proper disposal of tissues.
What are we doing to protect the community?
- Providing soap and hand sanitizer for staff and patients
- Providing antiseptic mouth rinse to all patients before treatment
- Staff are wearing Personal Protective Equipment and maintaining proper hygiene.
- All surfaces in the clinic and reception area are being cleaned with hospital grade disinfectant and detergent between patients.
- Proper disposal of contaminated items
- Magazines and toys have been removed from circulation
- All instruments are undergoing a thorough cleaning before sterilizations.
