of expertise include Dr Tom Trevethan, who has been working in the dental field for over 40 years. Amongst his extensive experience within private practice, Tom has also chosen to expand his skill set overseas focusing in both mercury removal and TMD. Dr Rosa is our friendly, bubbly dentist that absolutely loves to look after her patients overall Oral health. From seeing children to entire families. Dr Rosa is passionate in all aspects of Dentistry and building long term relationships with her patients. Dr. Rosa personally experienced a severe TMJ problem – so extreme that she could not even chew her food due to excruciating pain. Dr. Rosa studied TMJ along side Dr. Tom and with her own personal knowledge as a sufferer of TMJ dysfunction, she is now a partner with Dr. Tom at “Friendly Smiles Dental”. With our highly successful orthotic appliances, we are proud to say, we have managed to help patients with their TMD and Grinding/clenching all over Australia. Dr Yoyo graduated from Griffith University. He treats all his patients with the up most respect and emphasises on making everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Dr Yoyo has worked in both the public hospitals and private practices. He’s passionate in many aspects of dentistry and always looks to provide the best quality of care to every one of his patients. His main focus is Oral Surgery and endodontics. Apart from English, Yoyo is also fluent in Mandarin, and Taiwanese as he spent a fair portion of his childhood in Taiwan before moving to Brisbane. We are also expanding our TMD treatments with the help of our excellent and hands on physiotherapist. We are proud to be welcoming our very own Physiotherapist on-site who will be helping our patients with their discomfort. Koh has worked in both public and private sectors in all aspects of physiotherapy, he has a special interest in musculoskeletal therapy and has extensive experience working with athletes. His special interest in treating TMD started with seeing how effective physiotherapy can be in treating symptoms. With extra studies and attending professional courses, he is excited to help others with TMD using different modalities including dry needling, joint mobilization, low level laser and specific exercises. We also welcome our new staff member Victor Khuu who is our on-site Lab technician. Besides his extreme eye to detail, Victor has intensive experience in creating beautiful smiles in various ways. We are very happy to have him in our team.
