In this role you will provide essential support to our dentists and hygienists ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Located just a short walk from Coolum main beach and surrounded by boutique cafes. You can spend your lunch break in a cafe, going for a walk along the beach or enjoy lunch along the ocean’s edge. This role is perfect for someone based on the Sunshine Coast who is looking for full-time work.

The practice will be re-opening from 27th April 2020.

We are still working under restrictions, which the government have now eased to level 2. This allows us to offer more than just emergency treatments.

The safety of patients, practice staff, dental professionals and the wider community remains of paramount importance.

We always practice high standards of infection control, and since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic we have introduced heightened hygiene protocols and screening procedures, following the advise from the Australian dental association.

We have also invested in a second hospital-grade HEPA air filtration unit that guarantees a minimum removal efficiency of 99.5% even for the tiniest airborne microorganisms and more than 99.97 per cent effectiveness at 0.3 µm. This includes even particles the size of the coronavirus which has a diameter between 0.08 and 0.12 microns.

Treatment will be done under rubber dam where possible; this isolates the tooth being treated from the rest of the mouth and minimises the presence of blood/saliva where aerosols are generated.

To continue to follow physical distancing guidelines we are asking our patients to only attend the practice if you have an appointment. In these difficult times we wish to inform all of our wonderful patients that the Australian Government has recommended practices postpone all ‘Non-Essential and Elective’ dental services during this current pandemic.

Therefore, to reduce the risk of community spread and in the interest of health and safety for ourselves, our staff, our patients and families, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our practice.

We hope to re-open on Tuesday 14th April 2020, however this may change as we continue to take guidance from the Australian Dental Board and direction from the government.
