Phoebe’s smile was carefully planned with a focus on balance, proportion and preserving natural tooth structure wherever possible.
Using Digital Smile Design, we were able to plan the proposed changes digitally and preview the direction of the smile before progressing with treatment.
Her treatment involved a combination of pink aesthetic planning, additive dentistry, porcelain veneers and a resin-bonded bridge, with each element considered as part of the overall smile rather than in isolation.
We love cases like this, where attention to the smallest details — tooth proportions, gingival contours, texture and symmetry — helps create a result that feels balanced and natural to the individual.

To us, smile design is rarely about looking at the teeth in isolation.

In this case, the starting point included an existing discoloured bridge, increased gingival display and tooth proportions that affected the overall balance of the smile.

Using Digital Smile Design, Dr Lily Taheri planned the changes in relation to the patient’s facial features, smile line and existing tooth structure before treatment began.

Treatment involved:
• Digital Smile Design and smile preview
• Gum recontouring
• Replacement of the existing bridge
• Minimally invasive porcelain veneers
• Consideration of tooth proportions, symmetry and overall smile balance

The aim was to preserve as much natural tooth structure as possible while working towards a more harmonious result.
