An Australian Light Horse photograph I have not seen until today.

The photograph was taken in Egypt in 1915, during WW1, of men, horses and a limber, being prepared to leave camp for manoeuvres in the desert.

In WW1, a limber was a two-wheeled cart designed to attach to an artillery piece (field gun) or ammunition wagon, allowing it to be transported by a team of horses.
