Earlier than you might think!
As soon as your child's first tooth appears, it's time to start brushing with a children's fluoride toothpaste.
Here's a simple guide:
👶 Birth to 18 months
• Use a tiny smear (about the size of a grain of rice) of low-fluoride children's toothpaste.
🙆‍♀️ 18 months to 6 years
• Increase to a pea-sized amount of low-fluoride children's toothpaste.

💙 A few extra tips:
✔ Brush twice a day – morning and before bed.
✔ Encourage your child to spit out the toothpaste after brushing.
✔ There's no need to rinse with water afterwards – leaving a small amount of fluoride on the teeth helps protect against decay.
✔ Most children will need help brushing until around 8 years of age.

Starting healthy brushing habits early is one of the best ways to keep little smiles healthy for life! 😁

🌟 Look who wandered into Growing Smiles today... 🌟
We had a very special visitor arrive at reception this morning... 💛
Meet Phoudini Friend Pikachu! ⚡

We've given our little friend a safe place to rest before they head off on their next adventure.

Thanks to for spreading a little kindness and fun throughout our community. We love seeing little surprises like this brighten someone's day.
Should we send Pikachu back out into the wild for another adventure? 👀
💛 Gotta catch 'em all!

❄️ Hello Winter!
Queensland style... which means we're still debating whether we need a jumper at all 😄☀️
As we head into a new season and pass the halfway mark of the year, it's the perfect time to replace your toothbrush.

Fresh bristles help make brushing more effective and keep those smiles healthy 💚

💙 Tonight is one of those moments that reminds us just how quickly time flies.
Tyler and Keiralea have been at school together since Year 1 and tonight they attended their Year 12 Formal.
Their mums, Katrina and Nicci, did well to keep the tears at bay!
What a privilege it has been to watch these two grow from little prep-aged kids into the young adults they are today.
You both look absolutely amazing and we hope you have the best night celebrating this special milestone with your friends.
✨ Have a wonderful night, Tyler and Keiralea — make memories to last a lifetime. 💙✨
📸 Proud Mum Moment.

Community support comes in many forms.

🩵 This month we had the opportunity to contribute to A Brave Life through Cornerstone’s Make It Matter Month, supporting the Brisbane women and mothers experiencing domestic violence.

We’re grateful to play a small part in helping organisations do important work within our community and supporting mothers during difficult times - because so often, they’re the ones quietly caring for everyone around them.

Thank you to the volunteers and organisations making a difference every day 🩵
