What a fantastic evening at our Brisbane North ITI Study Club.

A big thank you to Dr Michael Lewis for presenting The Taming of the Screw: Managing Implant Prosthetic Complications. Michael shared such valuable insights into managing the tricky side of implant prosthodontics, from loose screws and fractured components to complex abutment challenges.

Dentistry by the Sea - ADAQ central QLD Sub-branch Conference 2026 🦷

Dr Rachel Garraway recently had the pleasure of presenting at the Dentistry by the Sea conference in beautiful Yeppoon.

Held at the Keppel Bay Sailing Club, the conference brought together dental professionals from across the region for a fantastic program of education, connection and collaboration.

Rachel delivered two presentations as part of an excellent line-up of speakers, including Dr Jonathan Moore and Dr Arosha Weerakoon.

It was a fantastic, well attended and well organised conference with a beautiful coastal setting.

Yesterday we celebrated our wonderful Front Office Manager, Grace!

Not only is Grace an incredibly valued member of the Perio Care team, she is also currently in the final year of completing her Bachelor of Business, majoring in Human Resource Management and Marketing.

What makes this even more impressive is that she has been completing her degree while continuing to work and grow with us at Perio Care. Her dedication, drive and commitment to developing herself both personally and professionally are truly inspiring.

Grace is a wonderful example to young women of what can be achieved through hard work, determination and ambition. 💪✨

Something exciting has come to Periocare 👀👀

We are pleased to announce the arrival of our new CBCT and OPG imaging machine, now available in our Chermside practice for our patients.

This advanced technology allows for 3D and panoramic imaging, supporting treatment planning, implant assessment, periodontal evaluation and more, all with the convenience of being onsite. With our partnership with Next Healthcare, we will also receive reports for all images taken.

Our CBCT and OPG scans are being bulk billed through Medicare, helping make advanced dental imaging more accessible for our patients!
