Braces STILL on? It could be due to one of these three reasons, and if so, we have some suggestions about what you can do.

1️⃣ If you're not wearing your elastics, even though your teeth might be straight, your bite can't be corrected. The Solution ➡ Probably unsurprisingly, Wear 👏🏽 Your 👏🏽 Elastics 👏🏽

2️⃣ Poor oral hygiene can cause your gums to become inflamed and as consequence, your treatment will slow down. To keep your teeth moving as efficiently as possible, ensure you are brushing and flossing according to your orthodontists instructions!

3️⃣ Orthodontics requires teeth to move through bone and everyone's teeth move at different rates according to their individual biology. So you may be doing everything asked of you and your orthodontist is doing everything they can but your teeth (and bone) just need more time. The solution for this one, is very simple but surprisingly hard: patience 🧘🏼
