Meet principal orthodontist and owner, Dr Adam Chen.

“Originally from Sydney, I completed both my undergraduate dental and postgraduate orthodontics degrees at the University of Melbourne. I have extensive experience working in both metropolitan and regional Victoria, as well as in public hospitals and private specialist orthodontic practices.

I have a particular interest in early treatment for children, to achieve stable long term results. I also help adults realise the full potential of their smile, and improve functional issues.

Outside of the clinic, I am a proud father to our cheeky toddler, Livi, husband to Vanessa and loyal subject to Barcelona, our ginger and white cat. As a family, we enjoy playgrounds with good coffee options nearby and road trips to scope out the best stand up paddleboarding areas in regional Victoria.”

🙌 Our team at Adam Chen Orthodontics are pleased to announce that we have a second clinic open from 8am at 34 Chesterville Road, Cheltenham. Dr Adam Chen has been an associate orthodontist of Plunkett Orthodontics for the last 7 years, and with Dr Giles Plunkett officially retiring at the end of October 2025, this clinic will rebrand as Adam Chen Orthodontics. Both Heidelberg and Cheltenham will work cohesively together to find excellent orthodontic solutions, ensuring a commitment to consistent high level care and accessible informative communication.

We have appreciated your support on this journey, and we continue to seek feedback from our valued clients to improve your smile experience. Hello all! Thanks for following along this week with our Warhol-inspired pop art posts leading to TOMORROW for our big exciting celebratory news!

A fun fact about Andy Warhol is that teeth began to appear in his artworks in the 1960s, and he amassed a large collection of dental molds and tooth models in the 1980s (sounds like Dr Adam’s clinic’s storage but hopefully less so as we move more to 3D scans!) We hope our Insta/FB will continue to share quirky dental related facts to break up your social media news cycle.
